How is Sculptra different?
Sculptra is an injectable containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), used to encourage gradual collagen production. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler, it is not intended to provide immediate, precise contouring. A qualified treating professional must determine whether it is appropriate for an individual's facial volume concerns.
Any immediate fullness after injection can partly reflect the liquid used to prepare the product and may subside. Changes, if they occur, develop over weeks or months. Outcomes and duration vary; no result or timeframe is guaranteed.
